The Lake to Lakes Trail connects Lake Erie to the Shaker Lakes through Rockefeller Park and University Circle.
This trail takes advantage of the existing Harrison-Dillard Bikeway running through Rockefeller Park to connect Lake Erie with Shaker Lakes Park in Shaker Heights.
This trail passes directly through University Circle and the City’s premier cultural institutions. It also serves to connect Cleveland’s east-side neighborhoods with historic Shaker Heights.
This trail will also provide access to Dike 14. This former landfill site has been reclaimed as a greenspace and is currently being studied for use as an urban park.
Cleveland City Planners are working in conjunction with community groups including University Circle Inc to make this trail a reality. Funding is expected to be provided through public-private partnerships.
