Region Description

The Northeast Region generally covers the area east of the Innerbelt and north of the Midtown, Euclid Corridor and University Circle areas excluding the Lakefront west of Bratenahl.  This region includes the following Design Review Districts:

• East St. Clair Design Review District | Map (PDF)

• East 185th Street Design Review District | Map (PDF)
• St. Clair Design Review District | Map (PDF)
• Superior Avenue Design Review District | Map (PDF)
• Waterloo Design Review District | Map (PDF)
• Lakefront Design Review District (only the section south and east of I-90) | Map (PDF)
• E. 140th/Lakeshore Blvd. | Map (PDF)
• Euclid-Green Design Review District | Map (PDF)

The Northeast Committee also reviews projects in the Newtown Avenue Historic District as advisory to the Cleveland Landmarks Commission.

The Northeast Committee does not review projects in the following designated Local Landmarks Districts: (this district is reviewed by a separate local committee advisory to the Landmarks Commission)

• The East Boulevard/ Magnolia
• Wade Park/ Grantwood Allotments
