Committee Comments, Questions, Concerns

  • What is this business?  Travel services for veterans
  • Why is the sign so high up on the side of the building?
  • Is the illuminated sign on the St. Clair side or on the Holmes side?
  • Is there a benefit to using the word "transportation" on the St. Clair Ave side?  Should "LLC" be replaced with "transportation"?  Can be changed.
  • Where will the vehicles be placed when they are not in use?  Will be parked in the warehouse when not in use.
  • Can the letters be outlined with black to give it more depth and definition?
  • Are you adding any light on the building to illuminate the non-illuminated letters on the St. Clair Ave?  No.
  • Can you possibly provide a back plate to lend that shadow and depth?
  • Should the lettering be roman type or italicized to unify?

Motion to approve with the condition that "LLC" be swapped with "Transportation" in the red-orange and that the first letter in each word outlined in black of if it can't be done than it should be all black.
