Proposed demolition of 10906 Superior Ave. presented by Steve Billington of CCLRC.  Properties were acquired at the request of Councilman Conwell for development interest.

 

Committee Questions, Comments, Concerns

  • Are the adjacent structures occupied?
  • Does CCLRC plan to acquire more properties for demolition on this block?
  • How long have the properties been vacant?
  • What is the local CDC's opinion on the demolition?
  • Will the curb cuts be removed?
  • Will CCLRC remove the mature, healthy trees on the lot?
  • Are there any existing garages on this site?

 

Carolyn Smith is in attendance from Famicos Foundation.  She stated that Famicos and the Councilman are both in support of the demolition, however they are not aware of any immediate development plans.

 

Motion to approve the demolition of 10906 Superior Ave. passed by all voting members present.
