Biography:  
  William P. Ginther, a devout Roman Catholic, was based in Akron. He designed numerous Roman Catholic churches, schools and rectories in Cleveland and had a long list of churches he designed throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, California, Virginia, and New York. He worked in the office of Frank Weary from 1879 until 1886. He made a tour of Europe in 1889, including Rome, Milan, Venice, Cologne, Paris, London, and Berlin.
