Biography:

George S. King was born and educated in Cleveland public schools and attended Sayers College of Cleveland. He spent three years in New York City studying architecture after which he returned to Cleveland where he entered the office of Ora Williams in 1903. That partnership lasted one year. He specialized in apartment and terrace house design. Mr. King was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the Woodmen of the World, and the United Commercial Travelers. Politically, he was a Republican, and had been a candidate for county commissioner.
