Biography:  
  Andrew D. Kent was a builder, later turned architect, with roots in the town of Newburgh before its annexation to Cleveland. Most of his buildings are located in the southeast side of the city. His most significant works were the Jones Road Congregational Church (1876) and the Disciples of Christ Church (1889) at 9200 Miles Avenue.
