ZONING MAP AMENDMENT

  1. Ordinance No. 18-11 (Ward 10/Miller)To Change the Use District of land located on the south side of Saint Clair Avenue between Eddy Road and E. 123rd Street from Shopping Center to Local Retail and Institutional Research.  (Map Change No. 2343; Sheet No. 8).

MANDATORY REFERRALS

  1. Ordinance No. 89-11 (Ward 3/Cimperman) Authorizing the Director of Public Utilities to license and/or lease certain space located in Tower City  Center from Forest City Commercial Management, Inc., acting as authorized agent for Tower City Avenue, LLC, for a term of two years, with one option to renew for an additional one year period exercisable by the Director of Public Utilities, for the public purpose of relocating the Office of Sustainability to Tower City Center to be in place with other sustainability related organizations.
  2. Ordinance No. 182-11 (Ward 5/Cleveland) Authorizing the Director of Economic Development to enter into contract with Midtown Acquisition, LLC, or its designee, to provide economic development assistance to partially finance the acquisition, demolition, and redevelopment of 6900 and 7000 Euclid Avenue, and other associated costs necessary to redevelop the property.
  3. Ordinance No. 189-11 (Ward 9/Conwell) Authorizing the Commissioner of Purchases and Supplies to acquire and re-convey properties presently owned by SDC University Circle Developer LLC, or its designee, located at 2021 Cornell Road for the purpose of entering into the chain-of-title prior to the adoption of tax increment financing legislation authorized under Section 5709.41 of the Revised Code; and authorizing an agreement with SDC University Circle Developer, LLC, or its designee.

  2. Ordinance No. 179-11 (Ward 12/Brancatelli) An emergency ordinance authorizing the sale of real property as part of the Land Reutilization Program and located on East 75th Street to Chad Murray. 
  3. Ordinance No. 180-11 (Ward 6/Mitchell) An emergency ordinance authorizing the sale of real property as part of the Land Reutilization Program and located at 12615 Buckeye Road to Harper Industries, Inc. 

ADMINISTRATIVE APPROVALS

  1. Ordinance No. 185-11:  To amend Sections 1 and 2 of Ordinance No. 770-09, passed June 8, 2009, relating to applying for and accepting a grant from Living Cities for the Reimagining and Re-using Vacant Land in Cleveland Program and authorizing implementing contracts; to supplement the ordinance by adding new Section 4, and renumbering existing Sections 4 and 5 to new Sections 5 and 6.  [Approved administratively on February 9, 2011]
