ZONING MAP AMENDMENT
Ordinance No. 1727-09 – This ordinance proposes to change the Use, Area and Height Districts of lands located on the south side of Carnegie Avenue and north side of Cedar Avenue between E. 100th Street and East 106th Street shown on the attached map from General Retail or Local Retail Business to an Institutional Research Use District, a ‘D’ Area District and a ‘3’ Height District (Map Change Number 2290; Sheet No 5 & 9)

NEW WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS TOWER
Application from Verizon Wireless to construct a 160-foot high cellular communications tower. The tower would be located at 3926 Valley Road.
LEGISLATION
- Ordinance No. 1724-09: Determining the method of making the public improvement of rehabilitating, renovating, reconstructing, or otherwise improving various Public Service facilities; authorizing the Director of Public Service to enter into one or more public improvement contracts to construct the improvement; and authorizing the director to employ one or more professional consultants necessary to design the improvement.
- Ordinance No. 1784-09 (Ward 13/Cimperman): Authorizing the Director of Port Control to enter into one or more Leases By Way of Concession for the use of certain City-owned property known as Ninth Street Lots Nos. 9 and 10 for the use, privilege, and license to operate special event parking and to collect fees in connection with special event parking, for a term of two years, with two one-year options to renew, the first of which is exercisable through additional legislative authority.
- Ordinance No. 1785-09 (Ward 13/Cimperman): Authorizing the Director of Port Control to enter into a Lease Agreement with the United States of America, acting by and through the U.S. Coast Guard for the lease of certain City-owned property known as Ninth Street Lot Nos. 9 and 10 to be used for government purposes, including parking, for the Department of Port Control, for a period of one year with three one-year options to renew, the first of which is exercisable through additional legislative authority.
