PLAN ADOPTION

West Shoreway Plan [from 12/19/08]

 

ZONING MAP AMENDMENTS

  1. Ordinance No. 1671-08 (Keane/Ward 21):  To change the zoning of lands on the east and west sides of Rocky River Drive between Larchwood Avenue and Woodbury Avenue as shown on the attached map.  Map Change No. 2269 Sheet No. 12).
  2. Ordinance No. 1851-08 (Brady and Westbrook/Wards 19 and 18):  Expanding a portion of West 117th Street /Berea Road Business Revitalization District by designating a portion of West 117th Street and land between West 117th Street and West 121st Street north of Triskett Road as shown on the attached map (Map Change No. 2270, pages 1, 2  & 12).

MANDATORY REFERRALS

  1. Chapter 341A:  Green Design legislation (to be introduced on 12/8/08)

    Purpose:  The Green Design Overlay (GDO) District is established to implement a set of design and development guidelines that support the conservation of energy and material resources, innovation in sustainable design, and the development of healthy and vibrant neighborhoods for the City of Cleveland.

  2. Ordinance No. 406-08 (Cimperman/Ward 13) Authorizing the Commissioner of Purchases and Supplies to sell City-owned property no longer needed for public use located at 1150 East 38th Street, to the State of Ohio, Department of Transportation for the State’s Innerbelt Project; and authorizing the Director of Public Safety to lease back the property located at 1150 East 38th Street from the State of Ohio, for a limited term, for the public purpose of operating the Division of Police’s mounted Unit. (Approved by CPC on 3/28/08) (Changes Made)

ADMINISTRATIVE APPROVALS

  1. Ordinance No. 1772-08 (Keane/Ward 21):  Authorizing the Director of Public Service to issue a permit to National City Corporation to encroach into the public right-of-way along the west side of West 150th Street by installing, using, and maintaining security fencing and a gate enclosing the pedestrian walkway between the westerly right-of-way and the bridge abutment north of Emery Avenue northerly approximately 100 feet.  [Approved administratively on 12/29/08]
  2. Ordinance No. 1773-08 (Various wards):  Determining the method of making the public improvement for the grinding of pavement for the local resurfacing of city streets and authorizing the Director of Public Service to enter into one or more public improvement requirement contracts for the making of the improvement.  [Approved administratively on 12/29/08]
