MANDATORY REFERRALS

    1. Ordinance No.  453-08  (Polensek/Ward 11):  Authorizing the Commissioner of Purchases and Supplies to purchase properties for the future redevelopment at 18410 Landseer Road and 18012 Hiller Avenue, for the Department of Community Development; and authorizing the Commissioner of Purchases and Supplies to convey the properties to Northeast Shores Development Corporation, or its designee, which are not needed for public use.
    2. Ordinance No. 447-08 (Pierce Scott/Ward 8): Giving consent of the City of Cleveland to the Board of County Commissioners for improving the intersection of East 105th Street and Martin Luther King Drive; authorizing the Director of Public Service to enter into any relative agreements; to apply for and accept an allocation of county Motor Vehicle License Tax Funds for the improvement; and causing payment of the City’s share to the County for the cost of the improvement.
    3. Ordinance No. 451-08 (Johnson/Ward 4) Determining the method of making the public improvement of constructing, rehabilitating, renovating, replacing or otherwise improving City-owned parks and recreation facilities, including site improvements and appurtenances; authorizing the Director of Parks, Recreation and Properties to enter into one or more contracts for the making of the improvements; to employ one or more architectural, landscape architectural or engineering firms and other consultants necessary to provide professional services relating to the improvement; and authorizing the Director to enter into one or more contracts for the making of the improvement to parks and to proceed with improvement to recreation facilities not otherwise improved by the direct employment of the necessary labor, for the Divisions of Recreation and Research, Planning and Development, Department of Parks, Recreation and Properties.
    4. Ordinance No. 452-08 (Johnson/Ward 4):  Determining the method of making the public improvement of constructing, reconstructing, and rehabilitating Cleveland Memorial Gardens, and the Denison and Brookmere Cemeteries; and authorizing the Director of Parks, Recreation and Properties to enter into one or more public improvement contracts for the making of the improvement.
    5. Ordinance No. 455-08 (Zone/Ward 4):  Authorizing the Commissioner of Purchase and Supplies to purchase property for future redevelopment at 5814 Franklin Blvd, for the Department of Community Development; and authorizing the Commissioner of Purchases and Supplies to convey the property to Detroit Shoreway
    6. Ordinance No. 501-08 (Kelley/Ward 16):  Determining the method of making the public improvement of constructing a vehicle fueling system at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport; ;and authorizing the Director of Port Control to enter into one or more public improvement contracts for the making of the improvement.
    7. Ordinance No. 504-08 (Brady/Ward 19):  Declaring the property located at 11850 Lorain Avenue blighted premises under Sections 324.01 through 324.16 of the Codified Ordinances of Cleveland, OH, 1976; and authorizing the Director of Community Development to acquire the blighted premises and sell the premises to Westown Community Development Corporation, or its designee.
    8. Ordinance No. 522-08 To supplement the Codified Ordinances of Cleveland, Ohio, 1976, by enacting new Sections 349.15 and 457.10 relating to bicycle parking; and to renumber existing Sections 457.10 and 457.11, as enacted by Ordinance No. 1552-A-90 , passed June 17, 1991, to new “Section 457.11” and “Section 457.12”
