OLD BUSINESS - MEETING OF MARCH 7, 2008 REQUIRING OFFICIAL CPC ACTION

ZONING

  1. Ordinance No. 363-08 (Polensek/Ward 11):  To change the use and Area Districts of land on the south side of Shawnee Avenue east of East 185th Street from a Two-Family Residential District and a “B” Area District to a Local Retail Business District and a “C” Area District.
  2. Ordinance No. 364-08 (Sweeney/Ward 20):  To change the Use District of lands located on the southside of Harley Avenue and the northwest of Triskett Avenue to a Residence-office District.

LEGISLATION

  1. Ordinance No. 104-08 (Brady/Ward 19):  To amend Sections 513.04 and 513.07 of the codified Ordinances of Cleveland, Ohio, 1976, as amended by Ordinance No. 2393-02, passed February 3, 2003 and Ordinance No. 1800-2000, passed April 2, 2001, relating to the duration and requirement of temporary public right-if-way occupany permits for outdoor restaurants.
  2. Ordinance No. 348-08 (Brady/Ward 19):  Authorizing the Director of Public Service to issue a permit to the Coral Company t encroach into the right-of-way at Shaker Square by installing, using, and maintaining way-finding signage.
  3. Ordinance No. 349-08 (Brady/Ward 19):  Determining the method of making the public improvement of constructing infrastructure improvements needed to implement Phase II of Tremont Pointe, formerly known as the Valleyview Homes project; and authorizing the Director of Public Service to enter into one or more public improvement contracts for the making of the improvement.
  4. Ordinance No. 350-08 (Johnson/Ward 4):  To amend Section 6 of Ordinance No. 911-07, passed June 11, 2007, relating to the public improvement of rehabilitating Woodland Avenue and Kinsman road (State Route 8) between East 34th and East 93rd Streets; and to supplement the ordinance by adding new Section 5a to authorize other agreements.
  5. Ordinance No. 358-08 Determining the method of making the public improvement for installing new, and removing existing, communication lines at Highland Park Cemetery and installing a gal line from the Highland Park Cemetery Administration Building to a natural gas supply; and authorizing the Director of Parks, Recreation and Properties to enter into one or more public improvement contracts for the making of the improvement.
  6. Ordinance No. 359-08 :  Authorizing the Commissioner of Purchases and Supplies to purchase properties for future redevelopment at 3503 West 123rd Street, 3445 West 123rd Street and 3747 West 130th Street for the Department of Community Development; and authorizing the Commissioner of Purchases and Supplies to convey the properties to Westown Community Development Corporation, or its designee, which are not needed for public use.
  7. Ordinance No. 360-08 (Johnson/Ward 4): An emergency ordinance authorizing the sale real property as part of the Land Reutilization Program and located on East 116th Street to Amjad Hamdeh.
  8. Ordinance No. 406-08 (Cimperman/Ward 13):  Authorizing the commissioner of Purchases and supplies to sell City-owned property no longer needed for public use located at 1150 East 38th Street, to the State of Ohio, Department of Transportation for the State’s Innerbelt Project; and authorizing the Director of Public Safety to lease back the property located at 1150 East 38th Street from the State of Ohio, for a limited term, for the public purpose of operating the Division of Police’s Mounted Unit.
  9. Ordinance No. 412-08 (Sweeney/Ward 20):  Authorizing the Director of Economic Development to enter into a grant agreement with Springco Metal Finishings, Inc. to provide economic development assistance to partially finance site improvements, including road and other improvements to the property located at 3340 West 137th Street.
  10. Ordinance No. 413-08 (Mitchell/Ward 6):  An emergency ordinance authorizing the sale real property as part of the Land Reutilization Program and located on East 84th Street to Fairfax Renaissance Development Corporation.
