MANDATORY REFERRALS

  1. Ordinance No. 114-08 (Santiago/Ward 14) To change the Use District of land on the southeast corner of West 32nd Street and Meyer Avenue from Two Family Residential to Local Retail to Local Retail Business (Tabled Feb. 15, 2008)
  2. Ordinance No. 275-08 (Brady/Ward 19) Authorizing the Director of Public Service to execute a deed of easement granting to Steelyard Commons LLC certain easement rights in property located at the intersection of Steelyard Drive and Quigley Road and declaring that the easement rights granted are not needed for public use.
  3. Ordinance No. 270-08 (Zone/Ward 17) Determining the method of making the pubic improvement of constructing and installing the Crown Improvement Project; and authorizing the Director public Utilities to enter into one or more public improvement contracts fo the making of the improvements.
  4. Ordinance No. 296-08 (Cleveland/Ward5) Designating Woodland Cemetery as a Cleveland Landmark.

  1. Resolution No. 167-08 (Cleveland/Ward 5):  Declaring the intent to vacate a portion of East 71st Street (90 feet wide)
  2. Ordinance No. 297-08 (Cleveland/Warde 5): An emergency ordinance authorizing the sale of real property as part of the Land Reutilization Program and located on East 69th Street to Midtown Cleveland, Inc.
ADMINISTRATIVE APPROVALS
  1. Ordinance No. 108-08 (Brancatelli/Ward 12 An emergency ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Purchases and Supplies to purchase properties for future redevelopment at various location within the Slavic Village Neighborhood, which are not needed for public use, for the Department of Community Development; and authorizing the Commissioner of Purchases and Supplies to convey the properties to Slavic Village Development.
  2. Ordinance No. 109-08 (Zone/Ward 17) An emergency ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Purchases and Supplies to purchase properties for future redevelopment at 1926-24 West 52nd Street and 1963 West 57th Street, which are not needed for public use, for the Department of Community Development; and authorizing the Commission of Purchases and Supplies to convey the properties to Detroit Shoreway Community Development Organization or its designee.
  3. Ordinance No. 110-08 (Polensek/Ward 11):  An emergency ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Purchases and Supplies to purchase properties for future redevelopment at 19205 Muskoka Avenue , which are not needed for public use, for the Department of Community Development; and authorizing the Commission of Purchases and Supplies to convey the properties to Northeast Shores Development Corporation , or its Designee.
  4. Ordinance No. 277-08 (Brancatelli/Ward 12):  Authorizing the Director of Public Health to enter into a Lease By Way of Concession with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to provide medical Services at the McCafferty health Center, for a period not to exceed five years.
  5. Ordinance No. 278-08 (Brancatelli/Ward 12):  Authorizing the Director of Public health to enter into a Lease By Way of Concession with the Cleveland Metrolplitan Housing Authority to provide community and supportive services for the Valleyview Homes HOPE VI project at the Tremont Health Center for a period of two years, with one two-year option to renew.
  6. Ordinance No. 289-08 (Brady/Ward 19) Placing a moratorium on accepting demolition permit applications and issuing demolition permits in the Lorain-Highland/Weston area until such time as it is designation as a Historic Landmark District.
