James Vasey from Signature Sign Co presented the proposed signage for Peerless Metal products.  Is proposing individually mounted letters for the primary sign, and two secondary signs on the west sides of the building.  The two secondary signs will be 3x8' with vinyl letters on a flat, durabond composite.

Committee Concerns, Questions, Comments

  • What is the color scheme for the signage?
  • Are both of the secondary signs needed since they are both in the same general location?
  • The Committee seems to like the gold letters instead of the white letters on the red brick facia as presented in the sign plan.  Can make a connection with the metal working operations and the gold letters presented during the meeting.  Gold color or metalic silver are good options for the letters in the primary sign.
  • The entire signage for the site should be more consistent.
  • Can the sign in location C be moved further down on the wall? Yes.

Motion to approve the signs A and C (lowering sign C about a foot), removing sign B and replacing with a simple "shipping and receiving" sign, with the primary signage being in a metallic gold or metalic silver color.  Also change the address color to match the primary sign color.  Voted and approved by all members present.
