Committee Concerns/Comments

  • Property owner has met/spoke with NES about possible design solutions for the second floor of the facade.  To create a balance of the facade a double hung window is being considered.
  • Property was issued a violation due to the condition of the balcony.  The original idea was to replace the door and balcony with a single window.
  • Committee suggesting a triple hung window, replicate the window sill on the left side.
  • What is the construction of the left window (wood panes, storm windows).
  • Windows should match the exisitng window on the left.
  • Consider painting the lower facade a more updated color and removing the air conditioning unit.

Cm Polensek and NES in attendance. Cm Polensek suggests some amount of uniformity with the first floor facade.

Motion to approve with the triple hung window to match materials with the left window and add the brick row-like sill.  Motion to approve by all voting members present.
