Things that need to be reconsidered: 1)bedroom windows should be larger, 2) reduce the number of materials on exterior, 3) re-study the canopy treatment and the impact to 2nd floor units beneath it. The committee's intention is to increase the functionality of the canopy feature. The concept presented of having a front porch on Euclid should be consistent in function as well as theory. Solutions to be explored included; providing more weather protection (by lowering or extending canopy) and better coordination between elements (sidewalk furniture, space programming, building entrance and canopy).
