Cleveland's Downtown Lakefront Plan
Last November, Mayor Frank G. Jackson shared a new vision for Cleveland's Downtown Lakefront between West 3rd Street and Burke Lakefront Airport. More than 120 people attended a community meeting on January 25, 2012 to review and comment on this Downtown Lakefront Plan. If you would like to see the presentation, click here. We encourage you to share any comments or suggestions you may have here. The City Planning Commission expects to take formal action on the plan in March 2012. |

Group Plan Commission
In July 2010, a new Group Plan Commission began identifying a unified vision for signature public spaces that will link major catalytic projects underway in downtown Cleveland. By January 2011, recommendations for Public Square, the Malls at the center of Cleveland's Civic Center and vital connections to the downtown lakefront are expected. Click for more details... |

Cleveland Health-Tech Corridor The Cleveland Health-Tech Corridor is part of a cluster strategy for economic development that was developed as part of Mayor Jackson's 2020 Citywide Plan. Economic Development and Planning collaborated with incubators, healthcare facilities, local community development corporations and educational institutions to establish a strategy to bring biomedical, technological, and health care related businesses to Cleveland. Landmarks Commission
The Landmarks Commission is an eleven-member body, which, along with its staff, is responsible for ensuring the preservation of historically and architecturally significant structures and districts in the City of Cleveland. Design Review
